Our partner Cafe La Conchita is a group of coffee farmers in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, near several volcanos in the heart of Sierra Madres. This is a beautiful, tropical region that boasts of violent thunderstorms, and exquisite coffee. Situated at 4,700 feet above sea level this is some of the highest altitude Guatemalan coffee available. The Arabica varieties planted here include Catuai and Bourbon, naturally washed and sun dried. Our coffees are directly sourced from our coffee co-op partners to provided sustainable practices and economic support for small family farmers throughout Central America. These coffees are custom roasted in small batches using renewable electric convection roasters. This roasting technology preserves the clean flavors and quality of these amazing coffees without the charred and burned flavor that is associated with gas-fired drum roasting.
